FAQ
How do I measure my hose ends correctly?
For a port the hose slides OVER, measure the hose's inner diameter and set that end to "outer" fit. For a port that slides INTO a hose or machine, measure the receiving hole's diameter and use "inner" fit. Add nothing — print tolerance is built in.
What material should I print adapters in?
PETG is the sweet spot: slightly flexible, so tapered ports seat airtight, and it tolerates the heat inside shop-vac hoses. PLA works for light duty; TPU only when you need a stretchy push-fit.
Can I make an angled or barbed adapter?
The generator covers straight tapered adapters. For a 45° bend, hose barbs or a stop flange, open the model in the workbench and ask the AI agent — it edits the same parametric CAD.
